ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

1. SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of

DRY FORK ROAD SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE 1

CONTRACT A - GENERAL AND MECHANICAL

CONTRACT B - HEATING, VENTILATING, AND PLUMBING

CONTRACT C - ELECTRICAL

CONTRACT D - SANITARY SEWER AND FORCE MAIN

FOR THE CITY OF HARRISON, OHIO

will be received by the City of Harrison at the Council Chambers, City of Harrison Community Center, 300 George Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030 until

1:00 PM, LOCAL TIME

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2009

and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.

2. The proposed Work consists of:

a. Contract A: Construction of a Wastewater Pumping Station located on the north side of Dry Fork Road, approximately 900 feet west of the intersection with Short Road.

b. Contract B: Heating, ventilating, and plumbing for the Wastewater Pumping Station.

c. Contract C: Electrical and instrumentation for the Wastewater Pumping Station.

d. Contract D: Construction of approximately 4,070 lineal feet of 18-inch gravity sanitary sewer and appurtenances to the east of the Wastewater Pumping Station, and construction of approximately 3,812 lineal feet of 8-inch and 3,812 lineal feet of 14-inch parallel force mains and appurtenances to the west of the Wastewater Pumping Station.

3. The Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Project Manual with Specifications, are on file at the office of the Mayor and at the office of ARCADIS U.S., Inc. 4665 Cornell Road, Suite 350, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241. A set may be obtained by depositing $200.00, check only, with Queen City Reprographics. Checks shall be made payable to ARCADIS U.S., Inc.. Deposits are non-refundable. Additional copies (in excess of one) of the Drawings and Project Manual may be purchased at a cost of $150.00 for Drawings and $50.00 for Project Manual. No refund will be allowed for the return of any additional copies.

4. A list of Bidding Documents (Plan) Holders will be available via the Internet at www.arcadis-us.com. At the top select “Latest Bid Results”. Scroll to the advertising office, then to project, then select “Plan Holders”.

5. Each Bidder must be a Bidding Documents Holder as defined in Article 1 of the Instructions to Bidders.

6. The City of Harrison, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.

7. No pre-bid conference will be held.
